Engineering Co-Op

Full-time engineering co-op position in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico for 12 months (January-December 2027). The role involves supporting engineering teams on product development projects through hands-on testing, documentation, CAD modeling, and manufacturing support while gaining practical experience in a MedTech environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with design, prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Perform CAD modeling and implement design updates under engineering supervision
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and document findings
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, and test reports
- Support manufacturing and laboratory floor activities and participate in cross-functional improvement projects
Requirements
- Completed freshman year of accredited university engineering program
- Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical, or manufacturing engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
- CAD software proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Microsoft Excel and Office suite proficiency
- Permanent U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship required
