• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate and document results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train newer team members or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards diligently.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire is a must.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification is required throughout employment.
