Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler Job Description
This role focuses on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing environment. You will work with electronic and mechanical assemblies, follow detailed schematics and blueprints, and use a variety of test equipment and hand tools to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly using hand tools, soldering tools, and precision instruments.
• Test assembled units using multimeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment to verify proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical assemblies by identifying and correcting defects or malfunctions.
• Interpret and follow detailed electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints to complete assemblies accurately.
• Use micrometers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances during assembly.
• Document test results, issues, and corrective actions as required by production and quality procedures.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
• Work effectively both as part of a small team and independently to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely and correctly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with a background in electronics assembly.
• Proficiency in electro-mechanical assembly, including both electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other technical drawings.
• Strong soldering skills and experience working with electronic components.
• Hands-on experience using multimeters, voltmeters, and other electrical test equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for precise assembly work.
• Proficiency with hand tools used for electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Basic computer skills to support documentation and test processes.
• Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Capability to test, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical assemblies.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trumbull, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
