Start Date: 07/01/2026

End Date/Duration: Ongoing (with 12 weeks coverage initially)

Shift: 8:00 am 4:00 pm, with weekend call (2+ weekends/month, 2:4 ratio)

Hours/week: Full-time

Employment Type: Locum to perm

License/Certs: Active medical license in NJ, Board Certified in Cardiology

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in non-invasive cardiology

What You'll Do

• Provide expert non-invasive cardiology consultations and follow-up care
• Perform echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, EKGs, treadmill stress tests
• Manage inpatient and outpatient adult/geriatric patients
• Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and healthcare providers
• Document patient encounters using Oracle/Cerner EMR systems
• Participate in weekend call rotation and patient rounds
• Ensure quality care in a Level 2 trauma facility with 600 beds combined

What You Need

• Valid NJ medical license; active and unrestricted
• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong diagnostic and procedural skills in echocardiography and stress testing
