Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are culturally informed, enabling the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique experiences and needs.

• Educate clients and their families about various mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge about treatment options and community resources.

• Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal standards, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of patient information.

• Participate actively in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and receiving ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas is required.

• A deep understanding and practical experience in addressing mental health disorders with cultural sensitivity.

• Demonstrable skills in individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusivity, as well as effective crisis intervention techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Union Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
