Licensed Pharmacist Opportunity

An acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support specialized patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. This 13-week contract position offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule, providing the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team focused on patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Wisconsin and bring at least one year of acute or long-term acute care (LTAC) pharmacy experience. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and OMNICELL medication management systems is essential to ensure seamless integration into the clinical workflow. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize medication regimens
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to therapeutic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and pharmacy standards
• Utilize EPIC and OMNICELL systems for medication dispensing and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1+ year experience in acute care or LTAC settings
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and OMNICELL automation
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts
