ACCOUNTING/BOOKKEEPING ASSISTANT

You will manage the day-to-day financial operations of a service company. Applicants should be honest, flexible, dependable, efficient, team-oriented, and have strong problem-solving skills. Job Description is as follows, but not limited to: Accounts Receivable, including receiving, processing, verifying invoices, and client communication Account research to resolve billing discrepancies. QuickBooks Online proficiency General office duties such as filing, scanning, emailing, faxing, and photocopying. Data entry, post bank activity, entering payroll, etc. Accounts Payable including receiving, processing, verifying bills, and vendor communication Skills/Qualifications: 3+ years of accounting experience. Quick Books proficiency Strong Knowledge of GAAP General Ledger competency. Possess strong analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Have the desire to deepen your accounting knowledge and skills Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Be well organized. Capacity to leverage technology for better outcomes. Has an outgoing and enthusiastic personality with a great speaking voice and command of the English language. Attention to detail and good communication skills Filing/faxing/data entry/basic computer skills. ServiceTitan and/or experience working in the home service industry is a plus Team player! COMPENSATION: Salary ranges from $25 to $35 per hour commensurate with experience, plus benefits and a long-term career path.
