Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in educational psychology to a vibrant school community near Chicago, IL! This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference supporting PreK-8th grade students for the 26-27 school year. Beginning August 18th and running through June 4th, with possible extension due to emergency days, you’ll partner with a fellow school psychologist to manage a caseload of 180 across elementary and middle school levels. Surrounding areas may also be included, enabling you to build strong relationships and broaden your impact across a dynamic region.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Strong understanding of best practices in school psychology for PreK-8th
• At least one year of post-graduate experience as a school psychologist preferred
• Skilled at collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and advocacy abilities
• Comfortable managing and splitting a diverse caseload with a colleague

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments
• Develop and implement interventions to support student mental health and academic success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized plans
• Provide consultation and guidance for teachers and parents
• Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and support as needed
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to state/district protocols
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff and families
