Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, situated in a vibrant community in Springfield. As a Physical Therapist, you will have access to our advanced rehabilitation equipment and resources, ensuring you can provide comprehensive care to every patient. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured work schedule conducive to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to identify their specific needs and establish treatment objectives.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring high-quality, individualized care.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Administer effective interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and overall function while minimizing dependency on medication.
• Create customized exercise and wellness programs tailored to the unique conditions and goals of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Document patient progress and care provided accurately, maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Evaluate patients' responses to therapies and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Promote patient education on health and wellness to empower clients to maintain improvements outside the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse clientele covered by private medical insurance, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. We take pride in our holistic approach and aim to address not only the physical aspects of rehabilitation but also the emotional and psychological barriers that may hinder a patient's recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
• Hold an active license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia with no records of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Capable of designing and implementing individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in managing a caseload effectively while tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.
• Background in sports medicine or similar therapeutic environments is advantageous for understanding active patient demographics.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
