Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health by utilizing standardized assessment tools and structured interviews.

• Create personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based methodologies, addressing various mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Engage in regular therapy sessions with clients, delivering both individual and group therapy tailored to their unique needs, utilizing culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches.

• Provide ongoing support and psychoeducation, equipping clients with effective coping strategies and tools to facilitate their recovery and mental resilience.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care, and make appropriate referrals as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular supervisions and training sessions to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and experiences. Special attention will be given to clients experiencing issues such as substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. Your approach will be rooted in cultural competence, allowing you to effectively relate to and support each client's unique story and mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health settings.

• Proven ability to apply evidence-based treatment approaches and maintain cultural competence in therapy.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering individual and group therapy sessions.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with fellow professionals.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
