POSITION OVERVIEW The Food & Beverage Director serves as the strategic leader of all Food & Beverage operations at The Beverly Hills Hotel, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, fostering innovation, and cultivating a culture of excellence across the division. WHAT YOU’LL DO Leadership & Operations Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, banquets, culinary operations, stewarding, and future outlet concepts. Partner with the Pre-Opening Team to lead the planning, development, and successful launch of five new Food & Beverage venues scheduled for Fall 2026, including a signature restaurant, standalone bars, a private dining room, and a screening room concept. Serve as the executive sponsor for all Food & Beverage pre-opening initiatives, ensuring successful concept development, staffing, training, operational readiness, and opening execution for all new venues. Establish and execute the overall Food & Beverage strategy, ensuring alignment with Dorchester Collection standards, luxury service expectations, brand positioning, and business objectives. Maintain operational excellence across all outlets by ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements. Instill a culture of exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every guest-facing touchpoint reflect the elegance and heritage of The Beverly Hills Hotel. Financial & Commercial Performance Direct all aspects of financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue optimization, labor management, inventory controls, cost management, capital planning, and profit-and-loss accountability. Drive financial performance and operational results to successfully achieve the monthly accountability objectives with the Dorchester Collection Corporate Office. Analyse business performance, guest trends, competitive market conditions, and financial results to identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and enhanced guest satisfaction. Partner with Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and operational leaders to maximize profitability and support overall hotel performance.2 Maintain expert knowledge of local and global food and beverage trends, positioning The Beverly Hills Hotel as a premier culinary destination and its outlets among the most sought-after in luxury hospitality. Guest Experience & Innovation Collaborate closely with Culinary, Restaurant, and Beverage leadership teams, including the development of a new beverage leadership structure, to create innovative dining, beverage, entertainment, and experiential programming that strengthens market positioning and guest engagement. Champion guest satisfaction through proactive engagement with guest feedback platforms, service recovery initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Foster strong relationships with guests, VIP clientele, industry partners, and community stakeholders to enhance brand reputation, elevate the guest experience, and cultivate long-term loyalty. Banquets & Special Events In partnership with the Catering Director, provide strategic oversight of Banquets operations, ensuring the flawless execution of meetings, social events, weddings, and high-profile VIP experiences. Drive operational consistency and service excellence across all group and event-related Food & Beverage offerings. Talent Development & Culture Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Food & Beverage leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, professional growth, and succession planning. Evaluate organizational structures, staffing models, and operational processes to ensure resources are effectively aligned with business demands and future growth initiatives. Promote collaboration, communication, and partnership across all hotel departments to support seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. Brand Stewardship Serve as an ambassador of the Dorchester Collection Vision, Values, and culture, inspiring teams to create memorable experiences that foster lifelong guest loyalty and brand advocacy. In partnership with the Sales & Marketing Director, Culinary Leadership, and the Hotel Executive Committee, drive innovation and continuous improvement to position The Beverly Hills Hotel as a recognized leader in luxury dining and hospitality experiences worldwide. Maintain alignment with Dorchester Collection initiatives while supporting the unique identity and business objectives of The Beverly Hills Hotel. WHAT YOU’LL BRING Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Food & Beverage Director in Five Star, Five Diamond, or comparable luxury environment with multiple restaurant, bar, banqueting and in-room dining operations. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent luxury hospitality leadership experience will be considered. English is the primary language used in our hotel. Our Food & Beverage Director must feel comfortable communicating in this language. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong partnerships with operational and corporate stakeholders to achieve shared business objectives. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and other business-critical periods required by hotel operations. Active contributor to the Hotel Executive Committee and senior leadership team, demonstrating initiative, collaboration, and sound business judgment. The items shared are essential. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to sit & stand for long periods (more than 10 hours). The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
