A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract role, covering a diverse elementary caseload. This position starts at the end of February and continues through June 4, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to foster strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

You'll provide speech and language therapy services primarily to Early Childhood Special Education (ESCE) students (approximately 70% of the caseload) and to K-5 students (approximately 30%). The workday is from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring a predictable schedule conducive to optimal work-life balance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure in Minnesota
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans and interventions for diverse student needs
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to students
• Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families
• Document progress and maintain accurate service records
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP meetings
• Offer consultative support to staff and parents as needed
