About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 20 weeks (potential for rotation) Shift: Night or Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in specialty applying for; recent Med/Surg Tele experience is required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission. Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must-Have: Must work at least every other holiday; must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation. Description: Seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. Potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Rotating shifts of 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm may be necessary to meet operational needs. Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably in one location, but can be combined. Recent travel experience will suffice. Active Ohio license or compact state license is required at the time of submission. Must have current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. A reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Must meet compliance with nicotine-free requirements, with exceptions for nurses and CSTs. Background checks will be conducted, and candidates with any license issues will not be accepted. Candidates may extend with the facility for up to 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break. Candidates must complete annual modules, which are billable, to remain compliant.
