Associate Attorney

Sinclair Braun Kargher LLP is a rapidly growing law firm based in Sherman Oaks, California . We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our team in providing thoughtful, high-quality advocacy for our clients. We have significant need for attorneys experienced or interested in complex coverage disputes and related litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to grow alongside a firm that is building something long-term. Responsibilities Handle insurance coverage disputes, including declaratory relief and related litigation Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda in state and federal courts Conduct legal research and support strategic motion practice Participate in discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses Prepare correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and other proceedings Work both independently and collaboratively with partners and other attorneys on active matters 1,800 billable hours per year, recorded promptly Qualifications 3+ years of experience practicing insurance or civil litigation Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Commercial General Liability (CGL) Bad faith or extra-contractual claims Declaratory judgment actions Coverage-related motion practice Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Admitted to practice and in good standing with the State Bar of California Skills & Attributes Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Comfortable taking ownership of assignments and matters Sound judgment and practical problem-solving ability Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently Our attorneys enjoy competitive salaries, generous bonus opportunities, a comprehensive benefits package, and a work atmosphere with excellent work/life balance.
