Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Fairview, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, which include reviewing medical histories, performing targeted assessments, and documenting findings to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring understanding and involvement in goal setting.
• Effectively implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's needs while continuously adapting approaches based on patient responses and emerging healthcare practices.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities meticulously, including evaluating initial treatment plans, ongoing progress updates, and discharge planning to maintain continuity of care.
• Engage in community marketing initiatives to enhance service visibility and patient access to care while contributing to departmental goals.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to advance your clinical skills and knowledge, and serve as a mentor to both new hires and students within our training programs.
• Promote a culture of excellent customer service, flexibility, and adaptability to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, fractures, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages seeking to regain their physical function and improve their quality of life. You will play a crucial role in assessing their unique needs and tailoring rehabilitation programs that foster recovery and strength-building.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• Compassionate nature with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate patients during their therapy journeys.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not strictly required, candidates with clinical internships in orthopedic settings or related fields will be favorably considered. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is desirable for candidates looking to further their professional credentials.

Compensation and Benefits
