Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients to assess their physical functions and identify impairment factors.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and evidence-based practices.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, which may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy modalities.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, using outcomes to adjust treatment plans and optimize rehabilitation efforts.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding home exercise regimens, injury prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle modifications.
• Engage in regular professional development and training sessions to enhance knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation practices and improve clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and degenerative conditions. You will work with a diverse patient base, including athletes, post-operative patients, and those with chronic pain conditions. Your role will include devising customized treatment strategies that address their unique rehabilitation needs and empower them to achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in New Jersey.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to critically assess patient conditions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly valued, as is familiarity with advanced treatment modalities such as dry needling or specialized orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
