Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Elizabeth, NJ. Our expansive 5,000 square-foot sports medicine center is equipped with the latest technology and resources to deliver exceptional outpatient orthopedic care. Our team comprises experienced professionals who are committed to providing evidence-based treatment and fostering a supportive, patient-centered environment. We prioritize working with a predominantly private insurance clientele, allowing for personalized care and treatment plans that align with our patients' unique goals.

Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and hands-on therapy. You will collaborate closely with two seasoned physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere. Our schedule operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment while providing ample opportunities to engage with patients throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their objectives and specific requirements for rehabilitation.
• Effectively manage a patient load of one patient per hour while maintaining high standards of quality care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment modalities tailored to improve patient outcomes.
• Employ evidence-based practices to provide personalized care, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, flexibility, and coordination among patients.
• Instruct and motivate patients throughout their treatment process, encouraging adherence and maximizing their functional capabilities.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress meticulously to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate seamless care coordination.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to enhance patient care, outcomes, and satisfaction.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness, adjust interventions as necessary, and maintain open lines of communication with patients and their families.
• Provide education on injury prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and self-management techniques to empower patients during and after treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients in need of rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. These individuals often seek to regain their physical function and quality of life through personalized treatment programs that align with their goals. Your role will be instrumental in guiding these patients, many of whom have private medical insurance, towards achieving optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices.
• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in developing and leading exercise regimens specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of successful patient outcomes and high patient satisfaction in previous roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
