Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify functional limitations and needs.
• Develop and implement customized rehabilitation plans focused on restoring mobility, enhancing strength, and alleviating pain.
• Utilize current physical therapy methodologies and evidence-based practices to guide treatment protocols.
• Engage in clinical teaching and mentorship, providing instruction to interns and novice staff members to support their professional growth.
• Prepare and deliver educational in-service training sessions at least once yearly for ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with management to identify areas for clinical research and initiate studies relevant to orthopedic therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse patient population includes a wide variety of age groups, from young athletes to seniors, each facing unique challenges in recovery. You will utilize a holistic approach to therapy that recognizes not only the physical but also the emotional and psychological aspects of healing.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is required.
• At least two years of clinical experience in the field of orthopedic therapy.
• Strong knowledge of current therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation protocols.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient interactions and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
