Senior Manager, Technical Program Management (Risk Tech) Lead programs that deliver on critical business goals and build large‑scale products & platforms. Work within Capital One’s Risk Tech organization, which transforms risk management into a real‑time, intelligent discipline powered by modern products and technical capabilities. Responsibilities Lead cross‑functional technical programs, collaborating with product, engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver high‑impact solutions. Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life‑cycle. Set and communicate the vision, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to achieve business impact. Ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations and global laws while delivering on regulatory requirements. Desired Skills and Attributes Strong technical background building highly scalable platforms, products, or services. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills. Quantitative problem‑solving approach and ability to simplify complex technical concepts. Deep focus on execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results. Cross‑team collaboration across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries. High emotional intelligence, good listening, and empathy for teams and partners. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing. 3+ years building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing (preferably AWS). 3+ years building highly scalable mobile products & platforms. 3+ years experience with Agile delivery. 3+ years delivering large and complex programs, owning business or technical vision, and securing deliverable commitments. Experience building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment. Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).
