Growing together.Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm CSTLocation: 12895 Josey Ln Farmers Branch, TX 75234Primary ResponsibilitiesGreets patients as they arrive and manages wait timeComplete check-in and check-out tasks to include insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documentsCollects co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles and issues receiptsManages cashier box and daily deposits according to company policiesProcesses walk-in patients and visitorsAnswers phones and schedules appointmentsAnswer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as neededManages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the publicPerforms all other related duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment.
