Location: Ayer, MA

Pay Rate: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime as needed

We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Mechanic to oversee maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment while mentoring maintenance team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technicians
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and production equipment
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and line calls
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
• Assist with equipment installations and process improvements
• Support high-speed automated production systems
• Promote safe work practices and maintenance standards
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance projects and repairs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment
• Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
