Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a multiyear effort focused on modernizing and enhancing payment capabilities across instant payment rails, including RTP, FedNow, and Zelle. The project is focused around creating a payment hub for customers to be able to submit payments/wire money to. This individual will be responsible for driving requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, ensuring full traceability throughout the project lifecycle. The Business Analyst will partner closely with Product, IT, Operations, and third-party vendors to analyze current payment workflows, support the design and integration of payment hub platforms, and identify gaps, risks, and downstream impacts. This role will also facilitate cross-functional workshops, develop key deliverables such as business requirement documentation, user stories, and process flow diagrams, and support testing efforts to validate requirements coverage in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should be familiar with digital banking and needs to be versatile to deal with different lines of business to translate their needs into technical requirements.

Skills and Requirements

-8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking/payments/financial enviorment

-Strong knowledge of payment hubs and instant payment rails (RTP, FedNow and Zelle)

-Experience gathering and documenting requirements (business requirement documentations, user stories)

-Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

-Experience working with Azure Devops to write user stories

-Experience standing up a practice or working without requirements and creating/navigating them
