2nd Shift Assembly - KTGJoin our dynamic team in assembling door handles and liftgate handles. You will play a vital role in our production process, working with light plastic parts to create essential automotive components. The position offers rotational shifts, providing variety in your workday, and requires standing for extended periods.ResponsibilitiesAssemble door handles and liftgate handles using small hardware pieces and plastic parts.Operate within assembly cells, rotating every two hours to different stations.Ensure parts are placed correctly in fixtures and assembled in the right order.Maintain a consistent production speed to meet hourly assembly targets.Perform packing, inspection, and labeling of assembled parts.Engage in molding activities, including packing, sorting, inspecting, and trimming excess plastic.Assist with paint operations by packing, hanging parts, and inspecting for defects post-paint application.Essential SkillsExperience in general labor and assembly tasks.Ability to perform labeling and packing functions.Capability to stand for 10 hours straight during shifts.Additional Skills & QualificationsGED or high school diploma required.Preferred experience in manufacturing or production environments.Why Work Here?Our organization offers a supportive and career-oriented environment, with a focus on long-term employee retention. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
