Our centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute and Wolfson Children's Hospital. Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Sous Chef in our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Clay, located on Fleming Island. This is a full-time opportunity with various shifts. As The Sous Chef, You Will Be Resposible For Supervising food service associates and grill cooks in the preparation and service of food to patients in a safe and sanitary manner Delegating job duties to associates from start to end of their assigned shift Being accountable for the operation and quality/quantity of food in area on a daily basis Displaying excellent customer service skills Understanding and maintaining proficiency on all cooking equipment in area Teaching associates the appropriate production charts and HACAAP logs This position requires a Manager Level Serve Safe Certification, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire Experience Requirements Less than 1 Year of Cooking Experience - Required 1-2 Year of Supervisory Experience - Required Education & Credential Requirements High School Diploma - Required This Sous Chef opportunity will be located at Baptist Clay.
