Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting individual therapy sessions focused on treating insomnia through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-I), adapting techniques to suit each client's unique needs.

• Reviewing and analyzing initial intake notes, self-report questionnaires, and sleep diaries to develop personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Regularly evaluating patient progress, documenting notes in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.

• Maintaining open communication with patients regarding both their clinical conditions and administrative matters, such as scheduling or billing inquiries.

• Participating in continuous professional development and team meetings, and engaging in case consultation to enhance the quality of care provided.

• Other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of individuals struggling with insomnia and related issues. You will be instrumental in guiding these patients through their journey toward better sleep health, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life by addressing both their psychological and behavioral patterns.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, specifically working with insomnia or sleep-related disorders.
\n
• Proficient in the use of computer systems for documentation, including word processing, spreadsheets, email communication, and EMR systems.

• Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While three years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in cognitive-behavioral therapies or specialized training in treating insomnia will be particularly valued. Experience in a remote therapy setting is also a plus, as it demonstrates proficiency in adapting therapeutic techniques to a digital environment.
