Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and behavioral health specialists, to create comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use histories, identifying strengths and areas for growth.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices, catering to the individual needs of clients and involving their families where appropriate.

• Provide psychoeducation regarding mental health resources, coping strategies, and recovery processes to clients and their support networks, thereby empowering them for sustained recovery.

• Utilize telehealth technologies to maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring a supportive presence even in a remote setting.

• Stay current with the latest mental health practices and trends to ensure the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults grappling with substance use disorders, including both new clients seeking help and those in various phases of recovery. You will provide therapeutic interventions and support to clients who may also be facing co-occurring mental health disorders. By working closely with these individuals, your expertise can lead to improved mental health outcomes and successful transitions towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Applicants must hold a current and valid LCSW license.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal communication abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in social work is required, candidates with experience working with elderly populations or within the addiction recovery field will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is also beneficial, as these tools are essential for delivering remote client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
