Job Summary:
The AI Developer / AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions to support enterprise applications and cloud platforms. This role involves building production-ready Generative AI and Large Language Model applications, integrating intelligent automation, and contributing to digital modernization efforts within regulated environments.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI/ML models and intelligent automation solutions.
- Build production-ready Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
- Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Train, tune, test, and deploy machine learning models.
- Create prompt engineering and model evaluation frameworks.
- Develop AI-enabled APIs and integrations.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle activities.
- Deploy AI solutions using CI/CD pipelines.
- Support model monitoring, optimization, and governance.
- Create technical documentation and implementation guides.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and government stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of AI/ML development experience.
- Minimum 3 years developing production AI applications.
- Experience supporting Federal or regulated environments.
- Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience with model deployment, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and REST APIs.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining/maintaining Public Trust suitability clearance.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Vector Databases, and RAG Architectures.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, and Google Professional ML Engineer.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability clearance.
- Work involves supporting Federal or regulated environments requiring adherence to strict security and compliance protocols.
- Work schedule and shift pattern details are not specified; likely standard business hours with potential flexibility based on project needs.
