Accounting Clerk (East LA)

Accounting Clerk (East LA) $21.00 per hour Monday-Friday / 7:00am - 4:00pm Plus OT Hours Fine home furnishings company in East LA is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join the team. In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial operations. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives on organization, and collaborates well across departments. Responsibilities: Perform data entry related to accounts receivable Collect and verify supporting documentation from other departments to ensure accurate invoicing Prepare and post daily deposits in accounting software Research and apply unallocated deposits Maintain and update accounting spreadsheets as needed Assist in generating invoices based on departmental inputs Provide support for accounts receivables and collections via phone and email Occasionally assist with accounts payables Track invoice payments and other financial data using QuickBooks Online (QBO) Respond to and make client phone calls as needed Email clients regarding invoice or payment details Participate in weekly departmental meetings Requirements: Past work experience that demonstrates strong attention to detail Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Benefits: Weekly pay and immediate benefits!
