Skills: Experience working with an on-line real-time computer system in the processing of financial transactions, effective verbal and written communication skills along with a proficiency in spreadsheet software.Responsibilities - 1. Assists in the analysis of grant guidelines and regulations, and the development of accounting procedures. 2. Analyzes expenditures for accuracy and determines if they are permissible under federal regulations and that funds are available for payment. 3. Assists in training staff in the use of computerized general ledger system. 4. Meets periodically with grant directors and other administrators to provide guidance for the implementation of grant accounting rules and guidelines. 5. Prepares fiscal reports monthly, quarterly and annually for submission to funding agencies. 6. Prepares spreadsheets as working tools for the accounting of grant expenditures in relation to the grant budget, and for other account analysis as is needed. 7. Assists in the preparation of financial statements and financial reporting for the audit and for ICCB, including the Uniform Financial System 8. Reviews the General Ledger for compliance with the ICCB Uniform Financial Reporting System. Responsible for account corrections. Meets with the MIS Coordinator to insure timely and accurate Uniform Report System report submission. 9. Provides technical guidance for agency audits to facilitate current and future compliance. 10. Assists with cash management and banking problems. 11. Aids in the completion of the budget. 12.
