This newly created position has been designed to support continued global growth and increasing complexity across the organization.Why Consider This Opportunity as the Senior Accountant?Newly created role within a large, publicly traded global organizationHigh visibility with exposure to Corporate Accounting and Controllership leadershipBroad exposure across consolidations, intercompany, treasury, and corporate accounting functionsInvolvement in SEC reporting, financial statements, and executive-level reportingStrong focus on process improvement, systems optimization, and automation initiativesCollaborative, cross-functional environment spanning finance, treasury, legal, and HRCompetitive compensation, bonus eligibility, and strong benefits packageClear long-term growth opportunities within a complex global structureKey Responsibilities for the Senior AccountantPrepare consolidation journal entries and support the monthly close processConsolidate financial results across global entities and prepare supporting analysesOwn key aspects of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including eliminations and reconciliationsAssist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnotes and supporting schedulesSupport SEC reporting requirements, including Form 10-Q and 10-K filingsAssist with board reporting and executive-level financial presentationsReview financial data from global business units to ensure GAAP compliance and consistency with corporate policiesSupport intercompany accounting, treasury-related activities, and corporate accounting functionsPartner with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audit cyclesAssist with internal controls documentation, testing, and compliance requirementsSupport consolidation systems, reporting tools, and data integrity initiativesDrive process improvements to enhance close efficiency, accuracy, and reporting timelinesProvide accounting guidance and support to global business units and cross-functional teamsQualifications for the Senior AccountantBachelor’s degree in Accounting required (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)CPA preferred4+ years of progressive accounting experienceBig 4 public accounting or large public company experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controlsExperience with consolidations and multi-entity accounting required or strongly preferredExposure to SEC reporting and financial statement preparation is a plusERP system experience requiredAdvanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilitiesStrong communication skills with the ability to work across global teamsDetail-oriented, self-motivated professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment
