Trade Operations Specialist

Responsibilities and Qualifications The Trade Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing patient cost benefit program business rules with Valeris’ processing partners. They implement program service requirements to ensure on‑time delivery and troubleshoot issues with clients and internal teams, acting as liaison between departments to coordinate work efficiently. This role does not require extensive programming or coding knowledge. 1–2 years of service‑related experience in operations, customer service, systems, and/or product development Comfortable working in multiple technology systems/platforms Directly supporting and liaising between client‑facing teams and technology and operational delivery teams Understanding of relational database concepts and structures SQL experience a plus MS Excel skills; ability to review data sets and draw conclusions Ability to collaborate with users to articulate requests, issues, and resolution on time Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact with vendors, contractors, sub‑contractors, and internal partners Proven problem‑solving abilities Logical, efficient, and detail‑oriented Superior organizational skills with detailed documentation Initiative and self‑motivation; ability to develop new skills, take ownership of learning, and seek opportunities for growth Strong adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments; able to adjust quickly to shifting priorities Strong sense of urgency with ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to talk or hear Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, use hands to type, handle or feel items, and reach with hands and arms Preferred candidates can type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy Minimal flexibility to travel as needed is preferred Standard office environment using office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans, including HSA‑ and FSA‑eligible options, with Valeris contributing toward premium costs Additional health support, including telehealth and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services Company match on Health Savings Account contributions Free Basic Life and AD&D coverage equal to your annual earnings, with a minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $300,000 Company‑paid Short‑Term Disability coverage, with the option to purchase Long‑Term Disability 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with 100% match on the first 5% you contribute, with immediate vesting Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Leave to support work‑life balance Team members receive nine paid holidays plus two floating holidays Opportunities for advancement and a stimulating work environment that encourages new ideas Inclusive culture that values diversity and supports personal and professional growth Mission‑driven culture where work makes a meaningful impact Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen in accordance with company standards.
