Trade Operations Specialist

Job Summary The Trade Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing patient cost benefit program business rules with Valeris’ processing partners. They plan and execute program service requirements to ensure timely delivery to exact specifications. The specialist troubleshoots client and internal team issues and serves as liaison to coordinate services across departments. This role does not require extensive programming knowledge. Responsibilities Implement patient cost benefit program business rules with processing partners. Ensure delivery of program service requirements on time and to specifications. Troubleshoot and solve client and internal issues. Act as liaison between internal departments to coordinate work efficiently. Support client-facing teams and technology/operations delivery teams. Analyze relational databases and structures; use SQL as needed. Use MS Excel for data review and outcome conclusions. Collaborate with users to articulate requests, issues, and resolutions on time. Manage multiple concurrent projects. Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with vendors, contractors, sub‑contractors, and internal partners. Document processes and maintain detailed records. Recommend process and system improvements for efficiencies. Monitor service KPIs and resolve incidents/problems. Update policies and procedures for assigned services. Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned. Qualifications 1‑2 years of service-related experience in operations, customer service, systems and/or product development. Comfortable working with multiple technology systems/platforms. Understanding of relational databases. SQL experience is a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving abilities. Logical, efficient, and detail-oriented. Superior organizational skills and documentation. Initiative, self‑motivation, and ability to learn independently. Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments. Strong sense of urgency and prioritization skills. Physical Demands & Work Environment The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit for long periods, type, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Preferred candidates can type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy. Minimal flexibility to travel is preferred. The role operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
