About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Finance and Administration to lead the financial strategy and administration for its $12M budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the annual budgeting process, financial planning and reporting, and managing a hybrid accounting model. This role requires a strong foundation in finance and accounting, with a focus on nonprofit accounting, complex revenue recognition, and restricted grant compliance. The VPFA will also be involved in operational management, including oversight of facilities, vendor relationships, and business compliance. Applicants must have a passion for the company's mission and a demonstrated commitment to its values. A minimum of 10-15 years' professional experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, including FP&A, GAAP regulations, and grants management. Experience in operational oversight and excellent leadership, project management, and change management skills are essential. The role demands a candidate who can build relationships, mentor, and influence staff at all levels, and who is excited to work in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and remote environment. Recent experience with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred.
