Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their unique emotional and psychological needs.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions targeting issues related to aging, grief, addiction, and other life transitions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients, families, and care staff focusing on enhancing emotional well-being and quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for clients and their families, particularly those navigating end-of-life challenges.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of the geriatric population, incorporating evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on working with senior clients facing an array of emotional and psychological challenges linked to aging, including grief, life transitions, and addiction. At our clinic, we emphasize a sensitive and understanding approach, catering to the emotional needs of a diverse elderly population, many of whom may be dealing with complex issues surrounding loss and dependency.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to practice in Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a substantial sign-on bonus to ensure that our new team members feel valued from day one.
