- Coordinate client intake, conflict checks, engagement letters, and matter setup.
- Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents, correspondence, notices, motions, and other case-related materials.
- Manage electronic filings through state and federal court systems.
- Monitor court dockets, track deadlines, and maintain accurate litigation calendars.
- Schedule and coordinate hearings, mediations, depositions, meetings, and related logistics.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
- Assist with discovery, document production, subpoenas, records requests, and service of process.
- Prepare hearing notebooks, trial binders, exhibits, and other litigation support materials.
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and third-party service providers.
- Manage attorney calendars and help ensure deadlines and commitments are met.
- Assist with time entry, billing, and other administrative functions as needed.
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Paralegal.
- Experience supporting litigation matters and familiarity with court filing procedures.
- Strong calendaring, docket management, and deadline-tracking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience supporting complex litigation matters.
- Proficiency with legal case management, document management, and e-filing systems.
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of legal education and experience.
