Machine Operator 2nd Shift

#LI-Skilled-01 Job Summary This position involves working in the laser machining work center, with a primary responsibility for performing laser machine operations on components. Instructions may be provided in the form of work instructions and written or verbal direction. Employees must become familiar with procedures and will be supported with direct supervision. This role is part of a team, and a strong emphasis is placed on the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities Perform tasks of simple to medium complexity related to customer-specific process requirements. Must comprehend documentation requirements. Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation. Inspect components to ensure specifications are met. Enter data as required. Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by the Supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to company policy and safe labor practices. Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering various wavelengths of laser light utilized at the company. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a high standard of conduct and job performance. Required Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or Equivalent, or completion of primary school in Costa Rica. Preferred Qualifications Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment. Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing. Experience with optical inspection equipment, such as magnifiers, microscopes, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity. Shift Details This position is for the 2nd shift.
