Computer Support Specialist

Role Overview The Computer Support Specialist will support end user hardware, asset and configuration management, and secure communications systems at Naval Support Facility (Dahlgren). The role involves maintaining reliable IT infrastructure while providing technical support to mission critical operations. What You Will Do Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, perform network switch patching and configuration, ensure security patches are current, and troubleshoot technical issues. Why It Might Be a Fit The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix based infrastructure, proficiency with Microsoft business tools, and familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Requirements High school diploma or GED Active TS/SCI security clearance One of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, BICSI ITS Installer 2 (Fiber Optic) certification within six months of hire, CISSP, CASP5+ years of experience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix based infrastructure 3+ years of experience using ServiceNow Action Request System or an equivalent ticketing system Proficiency with Microsoft business tools Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Excellent oral and written communication skills Benefits Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
