Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial real estate setting.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, corridors, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe onsite activity to help to deter trespassing, property damage, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, assisting with directional questions, and following Allied Universal post orders and incident reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an F85 or F89 Certificate of Fitness if required in New York.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
