Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations for a busy kitchen in Walker, MN. Position Summary
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all front and back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Starting wage is $25 - $27/hour and based on experience. Must have a current ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain. Work schedule is afternoons, Thursday through Sunday.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during all shifts
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control
Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen team members
Oversee kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Step in to assist with cooking and prep as needed

Qualifications

ServSafe Certification required
Culinary Degree preferred
Previous kitchen management or leadership experience
Strong background working in a commercial kitchen
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Ability to lead a team and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work weekends and long shifts as needed
