Bengali Language Expert for AI Training

Provide expert Bengali language support to ensure accurate, natural, and culturally appropriate written and verbal communications. You will create and review translations, advise on language usage and localization, and help improve linguistic quality across content used to train and evaluate AI systems. The role is remote and contract based, contributing subject matter expertise to a team building high quality training data and evaluations for frontier AI.

• Translate and localize documents, content, and communications to and from Bengali with accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Conduct linguistic reviews to ensure consistency in tone, style, terminology, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support content creation and cultural adaptation initiatives.
• Provide guidance on Bengali grammar, usage, and best practices.
• Participate in language-related projects, suggest process improvements, and act as a resource for resolving language queries and challenges.
• Work independently in a remote, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.

• Native-level proficiency in Bengali, both written and spoken, with strong command of grammar and vocabulary.
• Proven experience in linguistic analysis, translation, or localization roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality work.
• Ability to work independently as a remote contractor and manage multiple assignments.
• Preferred: degree in Linguistics, Translation, Bengali Language, or a related field.
• Preferred: experience with international or multicultural teams, and familiarity with translation or localization tools and industry standards.
