Staff Accountant 6900069 2 days ago Job Description Experience: Mid Level Salary: $30 - $40 per hour Job Details Prepare and maintain financial records, including assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses, and other financial activity Perform monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations and related financial analysis Handle month-end closing responsibilities and prepare journal entries Prepare and maintain financial records and schedules for the annual audit Work directly with auditors during the audit process Reconcile interfund and intercompany activity between entities Support budgeting and financial analysis Oversee accurate batching and processing of weekly check requests Assist with AP, AR, and other general accounting functions as needed Support the Finance team with additional accounting projects and responsibilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required 3+ years of relevant accounting experience Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience NetSuite experience **required** Budgeting experience required Experience with accounting/ERP systems Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently A bit about us: A well-established, mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Staff Accountant with NetSuite experience to join its Finance team.
