Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and comprehensive assessments to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Coordinate the disposition of patients to determine the appropriate level of mental health care, fostering continuity of care.

• Prepare and submit required statistical reports that inform the organization about the success of interventions and patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to ensure that patients have access to necessary services and appropriate housing during and after treatment.
\n
• Facilitate coordination of patient care with other institutional programs and services to deliver an integrated approach to treatment.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions within mental health observation units and other designated areas, employing therapeutic techniques grounded in evidence-based practice.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment provided to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in clinical supervision sessions with your Clinical Supervisor at least once per week for professional development and support.
\n
• Engage in mental health and medical rounds as required, providing necessary interventions and planning for ongoing care.
\n
• Contribute to case conferences and treatment planning discussions for patients, identifying best practices and potential avenues for improvement in care.

• Conduct psychological testing as appropriate and assigned, utilizing assessment tools to better understand patient needs and treatment responses.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, providing guidance and mentorship to the next generation of mental health professionals.

In this role, you will work primarily with adults facing various mental health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications\n

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
