General Description:

The summer school nurse oversees the health and wellness of students and staff members enrolled in Beebe's


MOST (Malden Out-Of School Time), CPPI (Commonwealth Preschool Partnership Initiative), and Extended School Year Summer Programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and administration of OTC and prescribed medications
• Provide emergency care to students and staff when needed
• Maintain daily medical log records and report any student incidents to the program coordinators
• Perform other job-related duties

Requirements


Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Familiar with life threatening allergy protocols
• Committed to working in and fostering an inclusive community
• Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies
• Work collaboratively and independently
• Maintain an enthusiastic and positive presence with all students, staff and families
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and risk management skills

Dates: June 29 - July 31 (Monday - Friday)

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Salary: $40 per hour
