Lone Mountain Land Company (“LMLC”) is a subsidiary of CrossHarbor Capital Partners ($8.7B AUM) and is responsible for executing several long-term real estate development strategies in Southwest Montana. Big Sky has emerged as the most successful and rapidly growing resort development in the United States. CrossHarbor owns three private residential communities in Big Sky (Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, and Moonlight Basin), several mixed-use buildings and a hotel in downtown Big Sky (“Town Center”) and created a separate investment fund dedicated to developing and acquiring workforce housing. LMLC manages all investments, development, and operations in Southwest Montana on behalf of CrossHarbor. Over time, LMLC may also undertake development projects in other areas of the United States or abroad.

Position Summary:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for execution and delivery of integrated marketing initiatives across Lone Mountain Land Company’s portfolio. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing project management, content development, digital marketing, and brand storytelling across multiple luxury and hospitality-focused projects.

Major Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions:

• Partner with the EVP and Sr Director of Marketing and Strategy to execute the overall marketing vision and strategic direction for specific entities and LMLC
• Ability to be on-site in Big Sky
• Manage direct reports
• Lead, develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns and collateral across digital, print, and online platforms
• Support go-to-market strategies for new and future developments, including positioning, messaging, and creative execution
• Lead all assigned marketing project management efforts including workflows, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time, on brand, and within budget
• Bringing new ideas to the team and implementing them into the flow
• Provide support for additional marketing projects on an as needed basis

Experience/Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related creative field

Experience/Education Preferred

• 10 years of relevant working experience
• Director level experience
• Experience managing employees

Computer Skills

• Knowledge and basic skillset in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working in different management platforms such as Wrike and Smartsheet
• Demonstrated proficiency with social media platforms, writing and editing
• Excel

Language Ability

Able to speak clearly and effectively with co-workers, other departments, and Members. Able to write clearly and legibly and in proper grammar.

Math Ability

Able to perform basic math calculations, understand budgets.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve problems and/or know when it is necessary to get help to assist in problem solving. Thinking on your feet and adapting to situations is a must.

Work Environment

The job location is in Big Sky, Montana. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. • Lifting & Carrying: Occasional, lifting of marketing materials, trade show equipment, or supplies, usually weighing up to 20 lbs, though some roles may require up to 50 lbs.
