A well established family office in Boca Raton is adding a Family Office Accountant to its team. This is a hands on role supporting the financial affairs of a family, with a real focus on trust and estate accounting and day to day bill pay. You'll work closely with family office leadership and their outside advisors, and you'll be trusted with sensitive, high visibility work.

It's a great fit if you're in public accounting and want to move closer to the client side. It's equally strong for someone already in a family office who wants a stable, well run environment with a hybrid schedule.

What You'll Do

• Trust and estate accounting. Maintain the books and records for family trusts and estates, including receipts, disbursements, income and principal allocations, and periodic accountings.
• Bill pay. Own the bill pay process for the family and related entities. You'll review invoices, process payments accurately and on time, and keep clean records.
• Reconciliations and reporting. Reconcile bank, brokerage, and investment accounts every month, then prepare financial statements and summaries for the family and its advisors.
• Tax support. Pull together the schedules and supporting detail the outside CPAs need for fiduciary, gift, and individual tax filings.
• Cash and household finances. Track cash across accounts, monitor recurring expenses, and handle the practical financial matters that come up for the family.
• Advisor coordination. Be a reliable point of contact for attorneys, trustees, CPAs, and investment managers.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in public accounting or a single or multi family office
• Hands on trust and estate accounting and bill pay experience
• CPA or progress toward a CPA is a plus
• Familiarity with a family office or trust accounting platform is a plus
