Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality service.
• Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, proactive problem-solving, and consistent follow-through.
• Coordinate and participate in client meetings and discussions regarding financial matters and ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with tax, legal, investment, banking, and insurance professionals to support client needs.
• Ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded through exceptional service delivery.

• Review and approve client invoices, payments, wire transfers, and cash management activities for accuracy and timeliness.
• Review general ledgers, bank reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Review cash flow reports and monitor client liquidity needs.
• Review annual 1099 filings, year-end tax packages, payroll tax returns, and other financial reporting deliverables.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support client decision-making.
• Review business license filings, Statements of Information, and other regulatory documents.

• Support client initiatives such as loan and credit applications, insurance reviews, real estate transactions, and investment documentation.
• Collaborate with insurance brokers and other advisors to support client financial and operational needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency across client engagements.
• Assist with special projects and other client-specific requests as needed.

• Review work prepared by Account Managers and support staff, providing coaching, guidance, and developmental feedback.
• Promote quality, accuracy, and consistency across client deliverables.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee multiple client engagements and deliverables while meeting deadlines.
• Handle sensitive client and personnel information with discretion and professionalism.

• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and participation in prospective client discussions.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce additional firm services.
• Contribute to practice growth and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, high-net-worth accounting, business management, outsourced accounting, or related professional services experience
• Experience reviewing work prepared by others and mentoring or supervising junior team members
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and financial operations
• Experience managing multiple client relationships, engagements, and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Family office experience
• Sage Intacct experience
• CPA, CFP, or another relevant professional designation
• Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, business management clients, or multi-entity structures
• Experience supervising staff or serving as an engagement or team lead
• Experience working with trusts, partnerships, investment entities, or alternative investments
• Experience collaborating with tax, legal, investment, insurance, and banking professionals

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $102,100-$132,200. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
