Statistics & Decision Sciences Summer Interns 2027
Johnson & Johnson
Johnson & Johnson seeks graduate students pursuing degrees in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or related quantitative fields for a 10-12 week summer internship (May-August 2027) across multiple sites. Interns will support drug development programs by applying statistical analysis, data visualization, and computational methods to clinical and nonclinical research.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, explore, and visualize data from drug discovery and clinical studies
- Conduct statistical modeling, analysis, and reproducible analytics to support development programs
- Develop computer programs or software applications supporting study design and statistical analyses
- Design experiments and conduct simulations to evaluate and optimize study designs
- Contribute to statistical methodology development and report writing
Requirements
- Enrolled in accredited graduate program (MS, PhD, or equivalent) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline
- Legally authorized to work in United States; U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident; no visa sponsorship required
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Available full-time (40 hours/week) for 10-12 weeks May-August 2027
- Proficiency in R, Python, or similar statistical analysis and data visualization tools (preferred)
- Ability to apply statistical reasoning to complex problems and communicate findings clearly (preferred)
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, or generative AI concepts (preferred)
