Medical Director, Dermatology and Respiratory - Clinical Development

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Medical Director to lead late-stage clinical development for dermatology and respiratory programs within the Immunology division. The role involves medical oversight of Phase 2/3 trials, cross-functional team leadership, regulatory strategy, and scientific guidance across immune-mediated respiratory, dermatologic, and allergic diseases.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, analysis, and reporting of Phase 2/3 respiratory and dermatology clinical trials
• Serve as medical lead for assigned studies, managing eligibility, safety monitoring, and benefit-risk evaluation
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive timely decisions from study startup through closeout
• Develop clinical documents including protocols, case report forms, investigator brochures, and regulatory submissions
• Mentor clinical team members and contribute to collaborative, high-accountability culture

Requirements

• MD or equivalent medical degree
• Clinical expertise in pulmonology, allergy, asthma, immunology, or related discipline
• 3+ years clinical development or clinical research experience, preferably in pharma/biotech
• Experience leading interventional clinical trials including protocol development and safety review
• Experience with respiratory or allergic disease trials (asthma, COPD, CRSwNP)
• Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of immunology, disease biology, and Good Clinical Practice
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate clear risk-benefit recommendations
