Commercial Property Manager

Pegasus Asset Management (“Pegasus”) is currently hiring a Property Manager within the Asset Management Department that will be an integral member of a rapidly growing commercial real estate asset management firm that focuses primarily on retail real estate assets. The daily job responsibilities will include a wide range of asset/property management and accounting functions to maximize the performance of the fast-growing portfolio. Pegasus is seeking a professional, meticulous, outgoing individual with a desire to learn the principals of commercial real estate asset management. The candidate must be detailed-oriented, organized, and able to handle several tasks in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude. The candidate will be exposed to both the investment sales and capital markets divisions, which allows for learning a larger breadth of real estate knowledge and promotes both creative thinking and collaborative problem solving. Primary responsibilities will include: Providing critical, analytical and operations support for asset management and accounting activities Daily correspondence with vendors and tenants nationwide to ensure the properties within the portfolio are operating efficiently Assist with the creation of annual budgets and detailed financial reports to submit to clients Managing work orders and processing administrative requests Assist with onboarding process for new acquisitions Conduct site visits for local and out-of-state properties as needed Experience and Qualifications: We are looking for an assertive, creative, thick-skinned entry-level candidate who has an entrepreneurial spirit and who is passionate about this exciting opportunity to grow within the company. Additional requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Exceptional analytical, written and verbal communication skills Experience using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Ability to be organized, detail-oriented and to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Yardi Property Management Software experience is a plus General knowledge of commercial real estate concepts is a plus 0-3 years of work experience in commercial real estate This position reports to the Manager - Asset Manager. The Property Manager will be part of a highly collaborative team and integral to the growth of the business.
