Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our team. You will utilize our telehealth platform to deliver therapy sessions and interact with clients. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs, allowing you to manage your work-life balance effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and treatment goals of clients seeking help for substance use disorders.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Provide individual counseling sessions using established techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, facilitating meaningful therapeutic rapport.

• Lead group therapy sessions aimed at fostering peer support and community, empowering clients to share their experiences and learn from one another.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to each client’s care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during substance-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance and resources to clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families about the complexities of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring a complete record of each client’s progress and treatment.

• Engage in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to multidisciplinary discussions that enhance patient care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve adult clients struggling with substance use disorders, providing tailored interventions that address their unique challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A current and applicable licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
